How to Use Fly Veils for Horses

Like those stocked by us, quality fly veils are solo pieces that don't require a separate halter to hold them in place. The standard pony, cob and horse sizes are further adjustable for a good fit. Most horses quickly adjust to wearing the fly veil, going on with their daily routine as if it doesn't exist.

However, horse fly veils must be regularly checked because it is possible for a determined fly to somehow enter underneath the veil and become a serious irritation. The veil can also chafe if it is worn for too long and becomes dirty and sweaty. Lastly, you must never remove a fly veil in direct sunlight because the veil acts like sunglasses, and the sudden shock of light may startle your pony.
