Different Horse Girths

Testing various girths on a new horse or after fitting a new saddle is often prudent. A synthetic girth offers a definite advantage over leather or string because it can be quickly rinsed with water after each ride, and this prevents the build-up of salts that will irritate the skin.

Wintec girths are designed for use with Wintec and Bates saddles but are also popular on other saddles due to their high quality and excellent designs. We also have western girths (or cinches) that are ideal for sensitive horses.
