    The Syd Hill is the perfect first saddle for a new owner/rider!

    The half breed provides the rider with a balanced seat while maintaining a close contact, secure feel and correct riding position.

    Built on a solid fiberglass tree, the fleece lined, contoured panels disperse the riders weight evenly across a large surface area for optimum fit of the horse.

    The comfortable and durable, printed synthetic material is easy to clean and care for, while keeping the saddle very light weight. This saddle is suitable for a range of riding styles including general riding, trail riding, breaking, polocrosse and station work.

    Complete with billet & latigo cinch rigging, adjustable fenders & aluminum oxbows you only need to add a girth to be fully mounted.

    This saddle comes with a 5 year warranty on the saddle tree and is available in black or brown colour, seat sizes 15”, 16” & 17”.


    Please note that half breed saddles are measured including the pommel, inner seat measurements are approximately 2.5 inches smaller that seat size.

    Saddle Trial Policy

     Trials: Saddles ordered through the Saddleworld Devonport website or purchased in-store at either Saddleworld Devonport or Saddleworld Launceston, and paid for via credit card or bank transfer with a delivery address within Australia, automatically qualify for the trial period.*

    In the rare event that you wish to make a return, to qualify for an exchange or refund you must ensure that the saddle;

    1. Is returned within 7 days of delivery;
    2. Remains unused, with the original ticketing, saddle covers clean and the saddle unmarked. The girth points cannot show signs of excessive wear beyond what a saddle fitting would produce.
    3. Is returned in its original packaging, which must be in the same condition as when received. This includes ensuring that saddles are well-packed in foam/cardboard to protect the item during transit, and any tags or warranty information are with the saddle.

    Terms:

    • Return postage to the store location will be the responsibility of the customer.
    • All returned saddles will incur a $100 Trial Fee that will be deducted from the refund before processing.
    • Refunds make take up to 2 business days to be processed on delivery – please allow for at least 5 business days to see the funds return to your account.
    • The trial period commences on the day you receive your parcel, as recorded by the postal company. Or for local customers, on the day you collect the saddle from our store. If for some reason the saddles return is delayed at the fault of the customer, the trial period will be forfeited at the discretion of the Saddleworld Manager
    • The trial period concludes on the 7th day. For example, if a saddle is received on a Monday, it must be returned via post or delivered in person to Saddleworld Devonport or Launceston the following Monday.

    *Please note that purchases made through Buy Now Pay Later services (such as Afterpay, Zip Pay, etc.), financed orders, and international orders do not qualify for the trial. Additionally, saddles that have been discounted or discontinued by the manufacturer are exempt from this trial offer.

    Saddleworld Devonport and Launceston reserve the right to refuse returns of saddles that have not met these terms, and the saddles return to the customer is that customers responsibility.

    Can i really return the saddle if i dont like it?

    You absolutely can!

    Discover the Right Saddle for You and Your Horse - No Strings Attached!

    If you're really unsure we always recommend a saddle fit. Contact your local saddle fitter to see if this saddle is in their stocked range. You might be able to save yourself a bit of hassle if they have it available as a demo.

    We would never want you to keep the saddle if it wasnt working out for you and your horse. BUT we do have to be very strict with the terms, so please contact us to return the saddle before the 14 day trial period is up.
