The Wilson snaffle was originally used for the driving world. It has now quite popular for ridden horses. The wilson snaffle has four rings - two attached to each end of the mouthpiece with two additional inside rings. the Cheek piece is fitted to the inside rings while the reins are fitted to the loose ring. the bit works in a squeezing motion rather then on the corner of the horses mouth. The bit is good for turning and for a hand pulling horse without being to severe.
