500ml Spray Lotion
- Convenient if you need to apply it to large surface areas of skin or multiple people.
- It is not an aerosol which means you do not lose a lot in the air.
- It has an adjustable spray nozzle.
The lotion is white and in a vegetable emulsifier so substantially thinner than the Crème so that it may work well within the spray and roll-on applications.
It has a very pleasant aroma, is nourishing to the skin and leaves no oily residue when rubbed in.

Safe Ingredients
Rosemary & Cedarwood Essential Oils are regarded as safe for skin application by regulators such as the EPA and much safer/beneficial than chemicals such as DEET & Picaridin.
In addition to repelling they are well known as having antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anti-fungal qualities and eco friendly insect repellent so our customers also report the following uses/benefits of Nature’s Botanical;
- Stop itching following insect bites, soothe hives & mild burns.
- Help with eczema, itchy rashes, psoriasis, dermatitis, athletes foot, acne & sun spots.
- QLD/Sweet Itch, greasy heel, rain scold & cover rub.
- Relief for mild arthritis of the hands.
- Deodorant, decongestant & moisturiser.
The Lotion is emulsified in a proprietary vegetable based gum whilst the cream is emulsified in an olive oil base and a poloxamer which is widely used in facial care, coloring, shampoos, styling products, conditioners, treatments, stick and oral care. Both products contain food grade preservative E211.
Effectiveness
The overwhelming feedback on Nature’s Botanical is positive and the reviews that that you see within this website are authentic. It is an option for you to try if you do not want to continue using DEET or Picaridin repellents.
- Extensive field studies have shown the product can repel flies, midges/sandflies & mosquitoes for up to 4 hours when applied to lower limbs.
- Protection time & effectiveness varies between people like any product depending on: How much is applied, the area of protection (limbs are less attractive to flies than the face), skin chemistry and level of sweating & how aggressive the bugs are (difference between aggressive tropical mosquitoes & non-tropical mosquitoes. A few flies and hundreds of flies).
- The natural fly repellent product for flies should significantly reduce landings from a few to none at all. They may hover, some may land but they generally tap out quickly so that the person does not have to keep using their hands to chase the flies off.
- For biting insects ensure the product is applied to all exposed areas, applying it like you would a sunscreen (note it does not offer SPF protection). In this case you should find the natural repellent product is very effective in eliminating bites.
- Both the natural insect repellent lotion and the cream are as effective but in some cases the cream may be better. It tends to get applied more thickly therefore lasting longer. It is also slightly water proof due to it being in an olive oil base so many say it does not run into their eyes if they are perspiring a lot. When the sun is intense ensure you use a sunscreen before applying the cream.
- We feel that the product is an excellent alternative to the countries traditional repellents containing harsh chemicals and with the above factors in mind if you are not satisfied with the product in various situations we will provide you a full refund. Saddleworld Devonport Returns & Refunds Policy
We understand that sometimes you may need to return an item. To qualify for a refund, products must be in their original condition with tags attached, and proof of purchase must be provided.
- Refund Requests: Must be made within 14 days of delivery unless the product is faulty or recalled.
- Exchanges: Allowed up to 30 days from the delivery date.
Exclusions:
- Feed, vitamins, and medical items are non-returnable unless faulty or recalled.
- Special orders are not eligible for change-of-mind refunds or exchanges.
- Sale items are non-returnable unless faulty. Please note, heavily discounted items may have slight imperfections - if you would like images sent before your order is dispatched please let us know.
How to Return an Item:
Before sending a return, please contact us at info@saddleworlddevonport.com.au or submit a return request via your account. Once your request is processed, we will provide a return authorization number.
- You may arrange your own postage or opt for us to handle the return shipping, which will be deducted from your refund.
- Please note that if your order qualified for "Free Freight over $200," postage costs will be deducted from your refund if you make a return.
Important Notes:
- The original postage charge cannot be refunded unless the order contains incorrect or damaged products.
- Postage costs for returns of items that are not faulty or damaged are the customer's responsibility.
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used.
- Saddleworld Devonport cannot accept returns on earrings, underwear, horse supplements, or horse feed unless faulty.
- We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
- Any Buy Now Pay Later payments used, the fee to us for your purchase will be deducted out of your refund.

Feed and Heavy Items (5kg+) are click and collect only.
We know this is a hassle! But please visit your local Saddleworld or feed shed to grab these items in person. Support your local!
Can I Pre-Order something not in stock?
You absolutely can! Please contact us and we will be in touch to organise a Special Order for you.
Please note that some items are seasonal, especially clothes or rugs, and once we sell out of a certain size we will not be able to get it back in. However, we are pretty knowledgeable on available products, and should be able to help you out anyway!
